2. Who is your contact?
My contact is Miss Jenny, who is my mentor or Miss Therese Marquez, who is the volunteer coordinator of the Corona-Norco YMCA.
3. How many total hours have you done (total hours should be reflected in your mentorship log located on the right hand side of your blog like your WB)?
About 84 hours total. I did about 20 hours over the summer.
4. Summarize the 10 hours of service you did.
Over summer, I went over ten hours. Each day was pretty much the same.
I helped put the children to sleep for naptime and then help prepare the afternoon activities. After that, we wake up the kids then put their mats away. We have them wash their hands for snack time and serve them. Sometimes we have them serve themselves. Then we have circle time. After circle time, we either have them practice tracing their name, or we immediately go on to projects. Then as the kids left, depending on the days, we would go back outside to play.
